Jewellery Care Guide

Good Goods pieces are 18k gold vermeil with hand-painted enamel and real gemstones. With a little care they’ll keep their colour and shine for years. The golden rule: last thing on, first thing off.

Do

• Put jewellery on after perfume, moisturiser, sunscreen and hairspray.
• Take it off before swimming, showering, exercise and sleep.
• Wipe gently with a soft, dry (or barely damp) cloth after wearing.
• Store each piece in a soft pouch or lined box, away from direct sunlight and other jewellery.

Don’t

• Don’t shower, swim or work out in your pieces — water, chlorine, salt and sweat dull any plated jewellery.
• Don’t use silver dip, chemical cleaners or abrasive cloths on vermeil or enamel.
• Don’t store pieces loose where they can scratch each other.

Quick clean

Soft cloth, light buff, done. For a deeper clean, a quick wipe with a slightly damp soft cloth and an immediate dry is plenty.
